Recently the Bank of Canada had lowered the rate from 5.34% to 5.19%, making it easier to qualify for a mortgage loan.

  • Changes in Rent Control: The rent control laws have altered in Ontario. New buildings are exempt from rent control, which could act as an investment incentive.
